Adrian Griffiths, founder Recycling Technologies
Adrian is a passionate believer that plastic can be completely sustainable, a vital material in the quest for a low carbon future. He founded Recycling Technologies in 2011. Following a decade of research, in collaboration with a number of universities, the company has developed the RT7000, a mass producible machine that uses pyrolysis to turn end of life, mixed plastics, into oil. In addition, in a collaboration with INEOS Styrolution, a technology to turn polystyrene into styrene has also been developed. Prior to RT, Adrian worked within the manufacturing sector for over 20 years, much of it as a management consultant. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial.
