Alex Hurst
The North
Alex is the owner of three private hire firms in the North East of England as well as a coach hire business plus three children’s nurseries. He assumed control of Readypay Limited in 2010 and has tripled the firms turnover while making it one of the most sustainable taxi fleets in the UK. Currently his fleets run over 50 electric vehicles. In 2016 Alex was selected by the United States Embassy to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the U.S. Department of State’s Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative for young European Entrepreneurs.
