The Music Industries Association is the Trade Body for the Musical Instruments sector, representing primarily Manufacturers, Distributors and Reseller. The purpose of the MIA is to bring the industry together, providing opportunities for networking & training and representing Members best interests with Government.
Anthony is the current Executive Director of the MIA, having sat on the Board of the organisation for six years. He has worked in the MI industry for over twenty years, firstly in Retail and latterly as Sales Director for the microphone manufacturer Shure UK.
Anthony is also the founder of ashortstories, a Podcast production & consultancy business. Current collaborations include The Corona Diaries with Marillion Frontman Steve Hogarth, 9-42 with Jason Hunt of The Guitar Show UK and On Brand With which focusses on Personal Brand with Deborah Ogden. Oh and he produces his own weekly podcast, which is a bit of an audio curiosity called Therapy For Me.
And before you think his life sounds just too good, he is also a Sheffield United supporter. So not all champagne & roses.
