A widely experienced Chairman, former FTSE100 finance director, and chief executive, I have gained extensive leadership capabilities across a range of businesses and sectors, frequently involving extensive interests outside the U.K. Martin has developed first class communication and City skills in both value and growth situations, particularly in building high performance effective and functional boardroom teams, conscious of both results and wider ESG criteria.
Having lead the turnaround and successful sale of Spice plc in 2010 as CEO, Martin has since built up a quality portfolio of NED and subsequently Chair roles, bringing a pragmatic common sense approach to business development and governance requirements in the boardroom and outside.
In 2013 he was awarded NED of the Year at the Quoted Company Awards, and in 2020 a runner-up in the NED Awards FTSE AIM category sponsored by Peel Hunt supported by The Sunday Times.
