Doncaster is changing
When it comes to economic regeneration, Doncaster is leading the way.
With strong public and private sector partnerships, ambitious long term growth plans, a perfectly connected rail, road, air and sea network and a determination to deliver development and regeneration, Doncaster is quickly becoming THE ideal place to invest.
On the road to growth
Great Yorkshire Way, the new link road to the Airport is one of the region’s most successful projects and a great example of how investing in transport infrastructure unlocks international connectivity, new housing, tourism and commercial development. The opening of this link road provides superb access and unrivalled opportunities to invest in key sites including:
iPort is South Yorkshire’s premier logistics hub. The 6 million sq ft multimodal inland port boasts 337 acres of developable land and a 35 acre rail freight terminal, offering warehousing opportunities and development ready plots combined with a range of speculatively developed units.
Doncaster Sheffield Airport
The recent launch of the Masterplan outlines the expected growth on the 1600 acre site over the next 20 years, realising the airport’s full potential as a major catalyst for transforming the North of England, creating employment, housing and aviation capacity. Infrastructure plans are already in place which could see a rail station connected to the East Coast Mainline. This would be truly game-changing not only in improving the airport’s ability to handle freight, but to open up its catchment area wider. Already home to over 100 businesses, there are a wealth of investable and developable opportunities at the airport, spanning manufacturing, logistics, office and residential
Doncaster’s housing delivery market is the most buoyant in the region. With ambitious land allocations coming through the Local Plan there has never been a better time for residential developers to look to invest and continue to build on the last 3 years record breaking performance.
The award-winning Project Unity is one of the largest regeneration schemes in the country. The 180 acre mixed-use site will accommodate developers looking to invest in commercial space for manufacturing, industrial, warehousing and 3100 residential units.
The new Urban Centre Masterplan supports the vision to revitalise and create a vibrant and successful town centre, including the redevelopment of the historic Doncaster Markets and improvements to the railway station forecourt.
Part of the £200m urban regeneration programme builds on the recent developments of the new £20m Civic Office, a £22m Performance Venue and Civic Square and will add a £15m Culture and Learning Centre incorporating the central library, museum and art gallery and a Cinema and Restaurant units and plots for office and residential uses.
European Tour Golf Development
This International development is one of only 25 in the World and offers a World class tournament 18-hole championship course surrounded by 400 aspirational homes backed by the parkland setting of Rossington Hall. Enquiries are being sought from leisure and residential developers for this prestigious mixed use development.
360 Degree Media – TV and Film Studio
