Emily Maister

Emily Maister is a policy and communications expert with over a decade of experience at the frontline of UK politics. Now at Schillings Communications, Emily is accustomed to working with senior figures under intense public scrutiny who want to land a message in the short-term, realise ambitions in the long-term, and ensure their reputation is protected.

Previously, Emily served as a Special Adviser to Prime Minister Boris Johnson at 10 Downing Street in the Political Unit, briefing the Prime Minister and his Cabinet ahead of all media and public appearances, including Prime Minister’s Questions. She also served as Special Adviser to the Secretary of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Michael Gove, and to the Conservative Party Chairman, Amanda Milling.

 Emily’s campaign work has been recognised nationally, earning her a ‘Campaign Manager of the Year’ award, having worked on local, mayoral and national election campaigns at the Conservative Campaign Headquarters. She also worked for the Conservative Research Department, before becoming a Special Adviser.
