Graham Robb
Graham Robb has owned Recognition PR since it started in 1988. It is a respected media relations business that had a humble beginning, its first office was located in a freezer room at the back of a fried chicken shop! Early clients included KPMG and Duncan Bannatyne OBE. Duncan is still a client today. Graham’s team is based in North East England, taking advantage of a lower cost base to service business clients around the UK. His team services 65+ clients including big firms in the care sector, automotive, construction, infrastructure and energy, manufacturing and entrepreneurs. Top clients include Ducati Motorcycles and Vertu Motors.
Graham started his career as a radio presenter at the BBC. He met Margaret Thatcher in the mid 1980s, who convinced him to stand for Parliament, which he did twice and, although unsuccessful, it led to him working as a media officer for John Major, William Hague and David Cameron. He also helped Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak in their election campaigns.
Graham has served on various public boards and on the National Council of the Institute of Directors.
