Hilary Clifford

Hilary Clifford has over 30 years’ experience leading business growth and transformation across UK and international sectors. Her career has spanned start-ups, private companies, social enterprises, charities, and Trade Associations. As a leadership consultant Hilary offers a multi-faceted approach to business support - working as a coach, board adviser, Headhunter, trustee, and non-executive director, always promoting diversity, inclusion, and creative thinking. Within her career Hilary has developed the first leadership training programme for female staff within the Ethiopian civil service. More recently she developed award-winning leadership programmes within the education sector and was a partner at a top UK search firm, focusing on C-suite and board appointments. Currently her focus is on working with marginalised and underrepresented groups to achieve leadership positions. 

As a Chartered Manager (ILM Level 7, CMI Fellow), Hilary mentors aspiring and senior leaders from every type of organisation. The breadth and variety of her work is what makes it so enjoyable. Accredited as an ILM Career Coach, she specialises in supporting executives through career transitions and expanding non-executive portfolios. Hilary is a Fellow of the CMI, and holds membership of the Career Development Institute (CDI), European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and Association of Coaching (AoC) and is bound by their ethical frameworks and standards.
